Joe Innes & The Cavalcade have released a new single, ‘Moscow’, off their upcoming debut album titled ‘Foreign Domestic Policy’.
Delightfully crafted, ‘Moscow’ encompasses all the hallmarks of this London-based artist, who has drawn comparisons to the likes of Bright Eyes and The Decemberists. Acoustic guitars, a piano, and delicate choruses are on display in a track that is about the artist’s relationships, mental health, and experience. All framed by the current scenario of political uncertainty. “It’s how I feel about where I am as a person, as a husband, and as a citizen of the UK in 2017”, he says.
Joe formed his band, The Cavalcade, to be some sorts of revolving doors of musicians to perform with, and has recruited several talented musicians in the past months. After an EP, ‘Brian, I’m A Genious Too’, a European tour and various festival appearances, Joe and the band started working on the debut album, altogether with a successful crowdfunding campaign.
