Meet Luna Pines, Leeds-based trio comprising of Ellie, Lotte and Olivia, whose alternative electro pop emerges with the beautifully crafted new single ‘My Own Ceiling’. They are a tangible example of DIY, perhaps taken to the next level. Not only do they write, produce and play all their own music, they also mix and master the tracks.

Drawing immediate comparisons to the likes of intimate The Japanese House, Luna Pines take the listener through an intimate journey about a personal struggle with mental illness and anxiety. The tracks builds on delicate synth riffs and ethereal atmospheres halfway between melancholy and hope.

“And I just wanted to say
I don’t owe you anything
I’m not in the ground just yet
No I’m not in the ground just yet”
