Raised in Sweden and now based in Berlin, Emma Elisabeth has just released her brand new track, the compelling ‘Soul Traveller’, first instalment taken from the forthcoming debut full-length.

The new track sets the uncompromising tone of a collection of songs due to make it to the tracklist of an album that will encompass the artist’s efforts in her rehearsing-room-studio out in old East Berlin. She experimented with synths, organs and jangly guitar sounds, then got a bunch of friends and colleagues on board to help her refining a the final result, mixed by Victor Van Vugt (PJ Harvey, Nick Cave).

Emma Elisabeth is also an official showcasing artist at SXSW this month, where she will give a taste of the LP live. Check below the official appointments scheduled in Austin, and listen to ‘Soul Traveller’.
