Brighton trio Strange Cages recently marked their return with an EP, ‘The Cracks’, released through Vallance Records. The title-track is now accompanied by a video, that perfectly pairs its frenetic psych-surf rock ‘n’ roll sound.

The band combines elements of krautrock and post-punk, with schizophrenic vocals, and, starting from their hometown, have rapidly become one of the top acts in the UK. The video for ‘The Cracks’ – filmed, directed and edited by Todd McConnochie – depicts the band playing the lead single from their latest EP, creating a surreal combination of lights and colours that perfectly pair with the sentiment of the track.
