Black Honey‘s first number of 2017 is this ‘Somebody Better’, a solid return, ahead of a UK Tour that registered already a sold out for the gig in Manchester. The Brightonians were among the “ones to watch” in 2016 and they didn’t miss the expectations, building their reputation through the release of a few brilliant singles and – more importantly – a great stage presence on their live sets.

Indie shoegaze vibes spread all around once again, in ‘Somebody Better’. The track displays all Black Honey’s main characteristics: simple vocal riffs and fuzzy indie guitar noise. The single – a cut off the band’s debut album, due out in summer – comes with the B-side ‘Cadillac’ and will be out on a 7” edition, although it’s already available on all the streaming platforms.
