It’s been a while, but Otzeki are now finally back, with a new tune and a special announcement. ‘True Love’ is the title of the band’s new cut. Needless to say, it’s an absolute hit. Ok, let’s put it this way: I listened to this track live several times already, and I immediately fell in (true) love with it. The studio version showcases a more accurate production and highlights once again the astonishing growth Otzeki have gone through in the last 18 months. It’s a delightful electro-noir “hymn of love and euphoria” as stated by the band.
‘True Love’ – out via AWAL and AntiFragile (U.S.) – is also the title-track for the announced sophomore EP. The new offering follows up to 2016’s ‘Falling Out’ and will be comprised of four tracks, including the already released singles ‘Already Dead’, ‘Touch’ and ‘All This Time’.
“We’re back… to haunt you forever”, Mike sings. Well, we couldn’t wait, Otzeki.
