Chesterfield’s four-piece TRASH have just announced the release of ‘Migraines’. The brand new track is also the lead single from the band’s EP out later this summer via Clue Records.
Just in time for the festival season, the quartet – comprising of Daniel Longmore (vocals, guitar), Tom Barton (bass), Evan Martin (guitar) and Bradley Weston (drums) – are back with an anthemic, infectious indie pop tune, that draws immediate comparisons to the likes of The Magic Gang and The Night Café. ‘Migraines’ starts with a lo-fi, Nintendo-like soundscape that suddenly changes directions with choruses that remind me of Day Wave’s latest offerings and edgy bass lines paired with fuzzy guitars.
Listen to the new cut below here. TRASH’s self-titled EP will be out in the next weeks and will be released on a 10” vinyl edition as well as on all digital platforms.
