I remember coming across The Velvet Hands back at the beginning of the year, when this little blog was moving its first steps. A few months later, the indie garage outfit from Cornwall and now based in London is back on our screens with a new banger, ‘Games’, that follows up to last January’s ‘I Don’t Mind’, and the 7” ‘Sick Of Living’/’If Only’, out through Zen Ten for Record Store Day.

The quartet is now working towards the release of their debut album, ‘Party’s Over’, expected out in early 2018, of which the new offering ‘Games’ will be part. Recorded at Troubadour Studious in Falmouth, the new track encompasses elements of garage and punk and displays all the hallmarks of a band who have been gaining praise throughout several energetic appearances live.
