Finnish 3-piece Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS? have just released their debut sophomore record – ‘Jazzbelle 1984/1988’ – via VILD. The final taste taken from the full-length is another flower-garage tune, ‘Corazone’.
HYESTJFAVHS? establish themselves as one of the most infectious and exciting outfits of the Scandinavian scene, for they have crafted their signature sound around keyboards rather han guitars, creating atmospheres that are somehow unique in nowadays’ indie universe. The track is part of a journey of 11 tracks that unfold in less than 40 minutes. Singer-songwriter Ekku Lintunen says about the release: “Rock music scene in Kouvola has some similarities as the Seattle scene in late80’s-early 90’s. Tough genres ranging from HC-punk to guitar driven alt-rock create a Kouvola Sound. Many bands (us included) have their own rehearsal space in an old accordion factory. If you need to borrow an amplifier or mics, that’s never been a problem. A kind of a commune, some might say. We’ve played and/or toured with many great Kouvolian bands, such as Lasten Hautausmaa, The Mutants, Barefoot Brothers, Gretel’s Moon light Motel, Kivesveto Go-Go, Eetu & Tuukka Avokämmennellä, The Souls, and every single time it’s been a blast.”
