North London newcomer Ellie Occleston has just released her debut single, the compelling ‘Splinters’, out on all platforms through Trellis Records (home of Axel Flovent and Brooke Bentham).
Ellie’s pristine voice stands out in a brilliant track that showcases the artist’s talent, providing a first chapter for the songbook she has been working on for years. Grown up on Merseyside, relocated to Spain with her family, Ellie faced the challenges of living abroad, and immersed herself in music, starting to write her own tunes and learning guitar and piano. Once back in the UK, she performed her debut release on Sir Elton John’s Red Piano at Royal Albert Hall as part of a songwriting session with Michael Kiwanuka.
