Meet Toronto-based Tallies, who are set to release their debut album (titled ‘Tallies’) on January 11th via Kanine / Fear Of Missing Out Records. The four-piece has shared today a new single, ‘Easy Enough’, accompanied by a video.

Setting the tone in between dream pop and imaginative shoegaze, Tallies’ guitars draw comparisons to the likes of The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. Sarah Cogan’s vocals, on the other hand, bring us back to Cocteau Twins’ Elizabeth Fraser delicacy. The new single fills us with anticipation for the release of the album, co-produced by lead guitarist Dylan Frankland and Josh Korody at Toronto’s Candle Recordings. “While writing this album, we were listening to The Sundays Reading, Writing and Arithmetic a lot. – says Frankland about the LP, adding – Harriet Wheeler’s soft-spoken sweet melodies has a major influence on where Sarah sometimes takes her writing to.”
