Maple & Beech are a seven-piece from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and their start of 2019 is highlighted by the first new track in over a year. ‘Side-Eye’ follows up to the band’s 2017’s debut LP ‘Rundawdaw’ and marks a comeback that pictures the art-pop collective while experimenting with synths, sophisticated melodic patterns and lo-fi atmospheres.
Largely inspired by the artistic community of Minneapolis, Maple & Beech was originally a solo project, the brainchild of producer Tyler Tholl. It has progressively grown into a seven-member outfit, comprised of Tholl’s friends and family.
