Indie trio Cassia have shared their brand new cut, ‘Small Spaces’, a concentrate of pop, joyful riffs that see the band reflecting on the monotony of routine and a weird feeling of feeling “boxed” in by no one’s reality. “‘Small Spaces’ – says the band – is the track that sets the scene for what’s to come. It’s our opener. It’s an introduction to a new tropical soundscape that we’ve been building towards since we started out.”

The number – soaked in afrobeat vibrations and recalling infectious choruses à la Vampire Weekend or Foals – follows up to last year’s ‘100 Times Over’ and fills us with anticipation for the band’s next steps in studio. Cassia have been confirmed as part of the huge lineup for the forthcoming SXSW in Austin, TX, as well as for a number of dates across Europe this spring.

Expect more, to be announced soon, and in the meantime, listen to ‘Small Spaces’.
