Stop what you are doing for a second, and take some time to listen to Leeds’ indie outfit Party Hardly brand new single, ‘Rats In The Kitchen’. The jangly rockers continue to impress with the second track taken from ‘Modern Strife Is Snobbish’, the forthcoming EP due out later this summer.

Aggressive punk overtones and political lyrics frame a number that stands as “a metaphor for the demonization of young people by the older generation. – says frontman Tom Barr – Throughout history these views have seldom changed, with the irony being that our grandparents would have viewed our parents in exactly the same light. Also, we had rats in our kitchen this one time.”

Listen to Party Hardly’s new single here. And start partying, if you fancy.
